Subwoofer died after 14 months LG refuses to fix

Everything set up easily and sounded great. I bought this as a package deal at Best Buy along with a 55 inch LG TV. I own two other LG TVs and LG washer and dryer. Ive always liked the brand and expected they would stand behind their product but that was not the case here. The subwoofer completely failed at about 14 months. The warranty is 12 months but I contacted LG through Facebook messenger to see if they would help at all. After about a week of back-and-forth they refused to cover repairing or replacing the subwoofer. Because of this I will never purchase another LG product and I would not recommend doing so to anyone.

GREAT Repair Service

I purchased my LG sound bar and sub-woofer together at Best Buy and unfortunately within 6 months I had an issue with the sub-woofer first not connecting to the sound bar then not powering on at all. I contact LG and they sent me a box to put the sound bar and sub-woofer into to send for repair and within 1 week I received the repaired equipment back and it all works now... Thank you for such great service

Unreliable product customer service

I bought this set back in 6/4/21 at best Buy. Couple of months later the wireless subwoofer is already creating issues. It would not pair and work. Called the LG customer support on the phone. First of all they cant send someone to diagnose their products second they need to send you a return label to ship your sound bar for diagnostic takes about 3 weeks or more. So you purchase an LG product and when it breaks you are not getting sound on your tv for a while. Hum.. Also I am now in my third attempts to receive the return label. No more LG products for their Home theater scope. I do have a washer and dryer from LG and it is fantastic Sorry LG

Died after 12.5 months due to firmware update

For 12 months the sound bar worked as expected. Cant say I noticed the Atmos portions of the sound bar but it sound good. Then shortly after my warranty expired LG pushed a firmware update which has made my sound bar a pile of junk. Ive emailed chatted and called LG with nothing but failed promises to repair the device. Because of this I actually returned other LG products I bought around the holidays.

Great sound lackluster Atmos sound

I bought this unit over a year ago and throughly enjoy this unit. I also purchased the rear speakers to make it a simulated 9.1 system. The sound is absolutely fantastic but watching movies in Atmos the upper speakers dont really create that depth sound that actual ceiling speakers would. I would also say the overall sound lacks warmth and can come off a little tinny but overall for the price its an amazing systme.

Stopped Working After 4 Months

Biggest mistake was buying this soundbar and having to call LG customer service 4 times over the course of a month and they still have not yet been able to send shipping materials. Even if their products were outstanding having to deal with their customer service is one thing I will never do again.

Started off Great. Sub stopped working

I bout this back in 04/21 and had Best Buy do the install and mount it all to the wall. I noticed at the start of the football season that the sound was missing depth. that is when I found that my subwoofer was not working. I am now going through the process with LG Support to trouble shoot the unit and possibly send in for repair. After what I have read on here I am thinking of swaping out for a different unit / vendors soundbar and sub all together. I like the Idea of a matched set but it is not worth the stress if the sub goes out again.

Amazing sound but some disappointment

I have deeply enjoyed my sound bar The sound has been amazing and I even decided to get the wireless LG rear speakers Overall my pride and joy of my movie watching experience. Unfortunately the subwoofer stopped pairing with the soundbar. LG customer support has been very helpful but it is a bit stressful needing to ship both the subwoofer and sound bar. Was a bit sad that it stopped working but Ill be glad to get it back from repairs Overall my experience has been so good with it I plan on sticking with LG for my future entertainment purchases

Issues with syncing to 2021 83 LG OLED

Purchased both new. Trying to keep them both working together is a struggle. After a week of headaches I reached out to LG support who indicated that I would be contacted by a specialist but that never happened. When the two work together it is great but then then our remotes stop or are intermittent and lately the Sound Bar insists on turning on to a very loud volume level not the level it last was set to before powering off. I have often been thinking about selling it and going back to my old amp/speakers..

Amazing Sound Bar

I enjoy using the sound bar for watching movies because I really like the home theater aspect of loud surround sounds while Im more engaged into my movie. Issues with Soundbar

I bought this sound bar about a year ago at the same time I bought my 75 LG television. I had the Geek Squad from Best Buy install everything for me. It worked beautiful until a couple of months ago when all of a sudden the sound stopped one day. The Geek Squad returned and asked me where the remote control was for the sound bar. I never got one. So they adjusted some settings and it worked - for awhile but periodically the sound just stops and I have to plug unplug and replug the sound bar power cord back in which seems to help. I am still trying to find the remote that goes with this product and no one is able to help me.

Wasnt impressed with the sound and thought it could be the setting in my tv causing the sub to cut out or even wireless interference. After paying more attention to the actions of the sub it got to the point where it was all the way up and sounded like the speaker was no good or possibly the internal amp or power supply wasnt able to power the sub. Ended up getting to the point of shipping it back to LGs service center and Im waiting to hear back on what theyre going to do.

Attention Grabbing Appearance and Sound

Sound bar is wonderful when the e-Arc works Although I bought it open box the store assured me it was in excellent condition. The sound bar is paired we a LG8570 UHD television. Often times when switching channels or watching a program the sound bar loses its sound completely. I have to go through the functions to return the sound or power off which is very frustrating having to use multiply controls to restore sound to a highly expensive product.

Great sound when it works. Ive had problems from day one of earc sound cutting out randomly. Sent in for service and got it back and less then 24 hrs started cutting out again . Not to mention that ot can back damaged. Wont buy again
