The first soundbar would lose bluetooth and hdmi connectiontech support had me send it in. They couldnt fix the unit so they replaced it. The second unit stopped playing sound and would no longer cycle inputs. It only powers on and off.

The sub woofer stopped working after one year and LG support said they cant replace the sub woofer so now the entire system is a piece of junk. It seems like sub-woofer stopped working for many people and facing similar issue. I will never buy LG devices anymore.

Ive been testing this sound bar with everything I have in hand dolby Atmos dolby hd DTS HD and it sounds great I hear no sound delays even with the satellite speakers Its been great so far. Im still not sure about the standard Meridien settings on this soundbar but standard for videogames and movies settings for movies and tv shows is great.

Purchased this setup in January of 2021. Every once in a while the subwoofer would cut out and stop working for 10-30 seconds then would reconnect on its own. Now the subwoofer wont connect at all no matter what I do. Not a great soundbar and the connection issues make it even worse.

The subwoofer stopped working 6 months after the warranty and I would have to pay to get it fixed. After reading the reviews it seems that it is a common problem. The speakers would also cut in and out. The sound was decent when it worked. Dont waste your money on something that will not last.

Bought this at Costco and like so many others on here the subwoofer died after a year. Its solid green showing connected but no sound. I have re-paired several times. Unplugged and plugged up the bar subwoofer and the wireless box. Still not working. Satellite speakers have been cutting out at times and kicks back on but I deal with it. Been doing this for 2 months no solution. Tried every tutorial I can find on it. Now its dead in the water. Button isnt even red it just will not come on. Sounds like a bad PCB board I see alot on here. Like this system just want the sub to work again

Stopped working within the first year

Subwoofer stoped working after about 14 months of use. It had problems almost from day one but we unfortunately did not reach out to LG soon enough. Warranty only lasts a year but the product was only made 18 months ago. Called customer service and they tried to fix it over the phone but they told me sorry but it is out of warranty.

Sub woofer doesnt turn on soundbar disconnects

I bought this about a year ago and it worked fine until recently. But since last month there have only been problems. The soundbar disconnects from the TV and I have to disconnect all cables and reconnect them several times to get it working. While Ive been dealing with that now the subwoofer constantly doesnt turn on. I need to disconnect and reconnect the power several times and sometimes even that doesnt work and I just give up. Probably going to trash it soon and avoid LG products altogether going forward.

A sound bar system with this sonic quality and in this price range is hard to find. Especially with the rear speakers included and the ATMOS compatibility. Works perfectly with my LG OLED TV. I must admit that the sub-woofer died after only 14 months just beyond the 12 month warranty but thankfully COSTCO still refunded my purchase price and I was able to find the same system on Amazon for a little higher cost.

The last LG product Ill be buying

I have had the same issue with the subwoofer failing about a month or so maybe a couple days past a month. We had got an expensive LG 65 LED TV which at the time was 1 of the biggest tvs u could get and after about a year half of the screen went black and no longer worked and was told it was out of the warranty. If I had to have it repaired by them it wouldve been headed for the e-cycler however I took it apart and found the tcon board had failed so the part didnt cost much used but I saw a lot of people with the same TV having the same issue. Seems for the money LG products cost and how they promote themselves as a top quality manufacturer they should be lasting a significantly longer time. I wont even buy 1 even if the discount was 80 off because who knows if your only going to get a year out of it. Their sound and video quality is top notch but they are seriously lacking in reliability.

Great sound but do I have a setup issue?

The LG SN7R15 sound-bar is connected to LG OLED65CX TV and so is my AppleTV. We only use the AppleTV to watch programs. The only choice we have for audio it seems is just with the sound-bar connected to the AppleTV via Bluetooth. Every time we turn on the TV we have to Bluetooth reconnect the sound-bar to the AppleTV otherwise the only sound we get is through the TV speaker. I want to use my AppleTV and: 1. Ideally get sound via the TV and via the sound-bar 2. Not have to Bluetooth reconnect the sound-bar every time I power on the TV Is there a solution?

Easy to set up

I bought this in January 2021. About 15 days after the 1 yr warranty expired the subwoofer died. I see many others have had this problem. After 4 phone calls I was told that LG would cover the repair and am now waiting for the box to arrive so I can return the unit. They said it would be covered but the form letter they sent with the shipping label says you should make sure it is still under warranty and if not there could be a charge so the verdict is still out on that. This is a mid price item and it should last more than one year. I chose LG to go with my LG TV.

LG Has Never Fixed Opt/HDMI ARC Input Problem

I bought this to go with my 75 NANO TV. Love it...EXCEPT It constantly switches to the OPT Input when I power up. The only fix is to unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in then the two LG devices sense each other again. Ive called/written but they havent done a firmware update in 18 months so I dont think thye plan to do so. Really not too much to ask to have two devices fro mthe same company talk to each other is it?

Nice-sounding system - until the subwoofer died

My experience with this system is very similar to others who had it for about a year. The subwoofer started cutting out and needed constant power cycling. And then a little over a week after the 1-year warranty expired it completely died. I understand there is a time-limit on the warranty but considering how many of these are dying after a year Id hoped they would honor it after only being out of warranty a few days. Instead they wanted me to ship the entire system back to them and pay for the repair myself. I did not have a box for this and they said theyd send one to me in a few weeks. I decided to return it to Costco hassle-free. The SN7R was a really great bang-for-the-buck 5.1.2 system but it seems like there is a flaw in the subwoofer PCM board. Its amazing that so many are dying at the year mark. LG I love your products I have an LG OLED TV that I absolutely love and various other devices. But unfortunately this experience has steered me away from LG soundbars.

LG eventually approved a repair but ultimately I elected to avoid the hassle and returned it to the vendor thank you Costco. I was very happy with this purchase until the subwoofer failed. Of course it did this three weeks after the warranty expired. LG has been great and did agree to repair it anyway but in the meantime Im without a soundbar for my tv. Up until then the sound was great for tv and movies. It was only adequate for music though.

Bought a year ago subwoofer would not stay connected and eventually stopped working. When it would connect the sound was good. Tried to work with customer service to schedule a repair. They were not helpful at all. Had to call 4 different times. Each time after 15-20 min on hold got different answers and different instructions... Ended up setting up an exchange at original store of purchase in about 5 minutes. Hopefully this one works better or I will be switching manufacturers.

Poor surround speakers

I received a replacement system from Costco on 9/23/2021 to replace a defective system when the sub-woofer and surrounds quit working. The new systems soundbar and sub-woofer work fine but the rear surround speakers leave much to be desired. Even with the volume at plus 6 there is not much sound from the rear speakers. Ive rechecked the connections etc but no luck. The original unit had the same problemwhen the surrounds worked. Very disappointed in the surrounds especially when hooked up to our LG 65inch OLED tv. We will keep looking for a surround system that performs better than this unit.

The worst electronic purchase I have ever made

I have had nothing but problems with this sound bar. It would cut out after about 3 minutes with no sound. Have sent in to be repaired twice. Now the rear speakers dont work. LG refuses to send me a new one and I have to send in again to be repaired for the 3rd time

Ive always used a surround system with a Receiver and speakers either mounted in the ceiling/walls or free standing. My last surround system included 4 Speakers mounted into the ceiling 2 were about 3 in front of the screen and the rear were right in the corner of the room above my right and left shoulders I also had separate Center Channel and 2 Towers the sound was great. I sold my house and departed from my system so when the opportunity came to try the LG system came along I was exited about it. Installation was very easy the wireless connectivity was instantaneous. I tried to mimic what I had at my old home and place the speakers in the same vicinity that I would if they were permanently mounted 2-front speakers were to the right and left of the TV and the rear were right there on the rear of the couch left and right. I tried adjusting the sound as best as possible but could not get it to my liking. It sounds ok.

Just ok. Static in rear surround.

A speaker has one function - play clear music well. I was expecting quality and while the sound bar has that the wireless rear speakers are full of static even when in close proximity to sound bar. Its audible even if you turn off sound and listen to them. I read from a review of someone updating firmware but I see now way of doing that on the support page. Disappointing.

Had to send back for repairs before 1yr was up....

The sound bar system was fine until the subwoofer stopped powering on and I had to return under warranty. They had me send back the soundbar and sub and I was specifically told to includethe power cords by a LG rep. Guess what they repaired and sent it back without the power cord for the soundbar or subwoofer....so now Im worse off than before. I will never buy a LG device again if they do not replace my power cords....I am waiting patiently.

I returned my other LG sound bar an woofer because it didnt have 4K passthrough. This one did plus it came with rear speakers. It is much louder and has deeper bass. Havent put it through its paces yet but believe me I will. My only gripe is with controlling the volume. Sometimes itll keep going up or down and I have to force it to stop. The other thing is that its not iOS friendly luckily I have an Android also and was able to update the firmware. Hence the 4 star rating.

Broken after 3 months. Hardest warranty ever.
