Ive had my TV about 6 weeks now. Theres a lot to know and a lot to get used to fantastic colors and brightness. I had a ton of town a little bit. Still tweaking it. What a difference between my old 10-year-old LED TV. LG I think youre knocking it out of the park.

Amazig Performance - Get One If You Can

The LG C2 55 continues to impress. Smart features from the layout of the home and app screens to the implementation such as when content is Dolby Vision you are notified and reminded of the best setting if you do not already have it. Once done its automatic after that. The 55 is light weight for easy mounting or placement. Does not run hot. I allowed the remote to adapt to my Cable Box and AV Receiver startups. Standard Definition up-scaling to 4k is very well done. TV speakers are impressive.

I am really impressed with lg my warranty was out on my TV and lg is replacing part to fix they stood behind their product also had extended warranty through alstate protection plan for three extra years and they would not cover it so thumbs to lg Im really impressed and will keep buying lg products

The LG OLED Is An Excellent TV No Question.

Amazing playback quality viewing experience Purchased 3-1/2 weeks ago and cannot fault anything. Viewed the Super Bowl in 4K60Hz Dolby Vision and Home Cinema. Color Hue White Balance need not be touched. Out of the box performance is impressive. Going from Cable to Streaming Apps does not require any adjustments. If I had a nag or complaint I would post it. Home and Apps menu are well laid out. Magic Remote with on screen pointer is fantastic.

1st year was good then.......

We loved this tv and LG soundbar for the 1st year then we got this splotch thst shows up depending on the background. Now it shows regardless of the background. After a little research it seems this tv is known for overheating issues that cause this.

Support Lacking but great pic minus screen burn

OLED55C9AUA purchased 10/26/2019. On April 202022 had problem volume always went to minimum with remote or hard function button. Reboot did not help issue. Called LG support went thru troubleshooting to include remove batteries from remote volume continued to go to minimum. Over air update was allowed to proceed and preform update just prior to this issue on 2 LG TVs. Support determined hardware problem but out of warranty and recommend repair shop. I was very upset that LG pushed update that caused this issue but would not support the repair and asked to speak to supervisor. I waiting on phone 45 minutes for supervisor 1hour 50-minute call with testing time when the line went dead with no contact from supervisor I proceeded to remove the 55 OLED from wall mount and relocate LG 49UH6100 from bedroom to Living room. On powerup the 49 did the same thing volume decreased to minimum. I found a NON-TV remote jammed in the couch that when freed up the volume problem stopped and worked properly. It seems the non-TV remote had a button pressed that was sending IR code for LG volume down. Recommend for future troubleshooting when batteries are removed from TV remote that batteries be removed from all remotes in the room or all remotes removed from the room with the TV. I hung the 55 back on wall mount and all good with the volume. It is very disappointing that a supervisor in not available when requested. It is also discouraging that only 2-1/2 years old I do have screen burn in the OLED where in a bright image I can see the CNN Breaking News Banner. I wish that some type of screen protector pixel shifter could handle static partial images such as banners to prevent screen burn but otherwise this OLED is the best picture TV I have ever had and receive compliments every time someone sees it thinking I just got a new TV.
