Fantastic TV but terrible LG Channel

I have had this tv for a year. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. When i stream the LG channel the sound for all LG commercials and LG sponsored Public Service Announcements are so loud that i turn off all commercials since i dont know when one of these will be broadcast. I feel sorry for the advertisers since the few paid advertisements have the sound tuned off. These few ads are broadcast al the sound level of the show that i am watching. The LG commercials are beyond screaming at me and i feel the FCC should look into LG for violating the sound levels for commercials. I give a ZERO star rating for this part of my TV experience. Viewing other streamed channels all commercials are broadcast at the same sound level as the show in which they appear. Come on LG follow FCC guidelines or i will be writing the few companies that place ads on your channel that they are wasting their money.

great tv but dont listen to the LG comercials

Wonderful TV with a great picture. However when streaming ALL LG comercials are broadcast with excessive sound my guess is 5 db than the content being watched. The excessive sound applies to LG sponsored PSAs. They appear to be about 3 db louder and then commercials paid by advertisers are 1 db louder. I turn the sound off for all advertising to avoid being blaster out of my chair. The paid advertisers are wasting their money since i do not listen to them. LG needs to adhere to the FCC rule where all commercials be broadcast at the same sound level as the program.

I actually purchased my TV in September 2019 along with a two-year extended warranty. At some point in the third year the TV screen began showing progressively worsening yellow-green shift and pixel burn-in. I contacted LG and hey had a technician come to my house and install a new front panel under warranty. Good as new Beautiful picture. See before and after photos.

Great features at a low price.

I bought this 2 weeks ago and the picture is great. The smart features are OK but the menu layouts are a bit strange to my way of thinking. It was hard to figure out how to do some things but I called the help line and they were very good at fixing my issues. I would buy this TV again.

This TV is amazing. Remote is so tricking cool. Best picture out there. Got the Klipsch 400 series sound bar all hooked up. Matter of fact I bought another 400 series bare for my office. Hooked up to my 27 inch iMac. Now I have 2. Thanx LG. Mike... TV sound is poor Thhats who i Got the Series 400 sound bar. All TVs have poor sound. Small speakers. I used th make speakers in the 70s. All parts came from RADIO SHACK...

Great picture...Durability??

I bought a LG B9 55 inch 4K smart OLED TV w/AI THINQ on 11/27/2019 after reading reviews and speaking with the LG representative at Best Buy as well as comparing the demo pictures of several brands of TVs. The picture quality was ASTOUNDING I can assert that the TV viewing experience was greatly enhanced because of the OLED picture panel. Unfortunately after just 28 months the TV suffered a catastrophic failure of the OLED panel itself and according to the authorized LG service technician repairing it would cost more than the original price of the TV. The TV only had a 1 year warranty and none of the reviews or even the LG representative advised of purchasing an extended warranty due to a possible failure of the OLED panel. I expected that if anything happened to the TV I would be able to pay to repair it. The service agent advised me to submit his case report to LG support in order to request their assistance in anyway partial or in full of repairing this TV. After several contacts with LG customer service I was disappointed to be told that nothing could be done since the warranty had expired. So right now Im weighing if I should buy another OLED TV with its outstanding picture and panel durability issues or a conventional LED at a third of the price. I would only recommend this product with caveats
