Ive had this model for 1 full year now. The biggest positives are the 120hz for gaming it supports all Xbox Series X features OLED and HDR make some movies more enjoyable than in the theater Atmos support and speaker volume make a sound bar unnecessary apps are very responsive. A few downsides: Bluetooth connection to earbuds crackles and drops audio frequently. LG channels and antena interface and responsiveness are very slow. Requires LG account for too much especially apps. Screensaver is aggressive with some apps and inputs but non-existent for others. Overall its a fantastic TV and everything I wanted. Only some minor gripes slightly hold it back. Had to give 5 stars but its really a 4.5/5. Highly recommended if you have an Xbox Series X PS5 or a high spec computer.

Love my tv even I am restricted and can not add Jackbox games and it died 11 months after purchasing. The entire flat screen and a part in the back just died while watching. Replaced for free under warranty just the flat screen and part. Glad I got an extended warranty because their repairman said this was a common issue. Other than that beautiful pic. My concern is WE had to call the repairman after he did not contact us and we knew as well as he did parts were shipped and no appt set. Once parts arrived we had to contact him and LG to get him moving. Once he came out he saw more than what he thought was wrong and we went through the process again. Lost tv for a month

Weve been having a lip syncing issue with the new TV for 10 months now. Geek squad has changed mother board twice changed settings multiple times with NO change. Even the repair guy LG sent out cant fix it So why cant I get a refund? Ive done everything LG has askedwhy wont they give a refund?

Had my eye on this one for a while. Glad I finally got it. Setup for apps was REALLY nice. Just pick your apps and let it rip and it installs them all. At first there was some pixilation but just needed to relocate a mesh unit closer to the TV. After seeing it my wife really wanted one for the Livingroom.

At the time of this review I have 1373 hours on this panel in roughly 4 months of owning it. I have thoroughly enjoying using this panel as my daily driver for all my screen time. This is my first Oled in the home. I have stared at them for hours at store displays but the richness of the blacks never really hit me until I got one in my cave. For my setup of sitting rather close direct viewing angle and in a dark room This TV rocks. The colors and 120 refresh rate really stepped up how great my games and movies look. If you are looking at this for gaming there are some nice built in gaming features like Gsync and FreeSync. Picture wise I could go on for days as a gaming panel because it looks and does exactly what I was looking for. Quality 1440p gaming up to 120fps with amazing colors and blacks. Let me get over a few things that I dont like. LGs operating system is not my favorite. It feels sluggish cluttered and never very user friendly for navigation. The integration with Google Home is buggy and not as fluid as I hoped. The internal speaks do leave something to be desired for sure. Not a huge problem for me because I tend to wear noise cancelling earbuds or headphones almost all the time even when home. If you intend to use this like a normal person I highly suggest a external sound system. Even if the external sound is just a sound bar. I have the TV tabletop mounted but it is very close to the wall So I have tried the wall mounted and tabletop mounted setting for the internal speakers. Neither really improve the sound when I am not using external sound.

Great picture but firmware issues

The picture quality is amazing. The black levels are great and having multiple HDMI 2.1 inputs is fantastic. The problem is with ARC/ eARC. Neither work after the software update. CEC- Link also does not work. I had Lg come and replace the logic board which fixed the problem immediately but upon updating like the tv does its back to not working. Sound out of the tv speakers or optical cable works fine. But whats the point of having eARC if it wont work?

I bought the TV during the Amazon Prime Days sale. It took over a month to be delivered. Due to some changes with my TV service provider I didnt set up the TV for several weeks. When I did the TV was dead. I have been requesting service for several weeks now and I have yet to recieve any sort of contact from LG other than the Bot email which acknowledged receiving my request.

Image quality is top notch. Unit was an easy install being verily light weight. Have done only a little bit of gaming on it but things seems to run smooth and look crisp. Sound is fine for TV speakers but doesnt compare at all to having a nice set or dedicated speakers.

I bought the 48C1 on prime day and Im still blown away by the difference OLED looks compared to the quad LED tv I had bought four months before that. Gaming on the LG 48C1 is breathtaking especially on games supporting Dolby Vision. I have gone back and rewatched movies I thought looked good on the quad LED only to be blown away by this OLED television. A great purchase for my viewing needs.

Im very impressed with my new LG OLED. The picture quality is the best. Colors are great on all shows and channels but if you want custom colors its easy to adjust. I really appreciate that there are no dark parts in the movies. Where I had to try and guess what I was watching. Everything is very clear. All of the LG channels make for lots of choice even if you dont have a streaming service or cable. I would definitely recommend this tv to family and friends. I look forward to turning it on in the morning

I purchased this tv after a considerable amount of research on what is currently available in the market. The tv that stood out with the most stellar reviews was the C1. It just so happened that the price for the C1 was reduced and I was very happy to purchase the television. Initial setup was pretty straight forward and I was absoluetly stunned by the picture quality. Sadly that did not last. I started noticing glaring banding issues and the screen suddenly had black horizontal lines appearing making the televison unwatchable. I only purchased the televison four months ago with minimal use and to have a major defect in such a short period of time was deeply disappointing. Luckily I did contact LG customer service regarding the defective screen the issue was promptly resoved. A new screen was replaced and I am hoping that this will last however the technician stated that I should have gotten an extended warranty not a comforting response almost implying that the television will not last longer than the warranty period. Excellent TV Still Waiting for Repair

I bought this TV about three months ago and absolutely loved it. Incredible black levels great viewing angles 120 hz great for gaming. Unfortunately I ran into a panel issue and have contacted LG for an in-warranty repair. Its been over three weeks and it has yet to be resolved. LG send me a replacement tv so I can keep enjoying it

Flawless?

It did take a second to set up because the TV was experiencing difficulties linking correctly to my HDMI but it was a quick solve and I must say ever since then I cannot think of a flaw in this TV. The screen is beautiful the set up is easy the software is up to date and overall layout and controls are so simple yet complex at the same time. This TV is the best TV Ive ever had.

ease of navigation

I purchased this 48 OLED TV about a month ago. Great picture but learning curve on navigating is a bit of a challenge. I am fairly proficient and have difficulties in adjusting things like picture and aspect ratio for my wife it is a real challange.

I recently purchased the LG 48 OLED C1 TV for my home. With all of the larger TVs getting the pub I was limited by the cabinet opening. Not to worry. This TV has amazing capabilities and an exquisite picture I just switched over to a streaming TV service and Im glad I did. The quality of the picture is outstanding.

My C1 from the day I bought it has had freezing issues cant update. Apps close automatically or dont open at all wifi and wired connections constantly dont work. Nothing but problems. Ive been waiting 3 weeks for LG to respond yo my warranty claim and they are failing miserably. Beware

I bought this tv about a month ago. I chose the OLED because of the beautiful crisp picture. However I havent been able to get that same picture quality since Ive had it. Ive even tried to change some of the settings to get that same picture quality but have been unsuccessful. If I would have known I wouldnt be able to have the same quality as the tvs at the store I would have never spent that much money and I would have stayed with a LED tv that cost way less.
